Welcome! My name is B.

Welcome to Trail for Travel! I’m B., a digital nomad who’s been wandering the globe for over two years. The funny thing is, I never set out to travel the world. Back in 2021, I was slogging at a full-time job in corporate America, and the more I worked, the more I wondered if this was going to be the rest of my life. And although I have nothing against those who find fulfillment through pushing sales for large entities, this was not my higher calling.

I took advantage of the COVID era remote working lifestyle to work remotely in Hawaii. But as things started to transition back to in-person post-COVID, I realized I didn’t want to go back home. Instead, I quit my “safe” job and booked a one-way flight to Australia, bringing nothing with me but a suitcase of clothes and my laptop. I imagined I would try this out for just a couple months as a much needed break and be back with a new plan. But months quickly turned to over a year – there was just too much to see and do! There was no looking back.

Places I’ve Lived & Traveled

Everyone travels differently, including me depending on where I am. In some places I slow down and spend a month or more; in others, I’ll city hop to experience as much as I can. However, I always find myself constantly drawn to nature, new experiences, and places where I can build a community—all while sticking to a budget. Contrary to popular belief, traveling, especially longterm, doesn’t have to be expensive. Here’s an updated list below of where my travels have taken me.

Digital Nomading

Wherever I went, my laptop went with me. I balanced working limited hours for a mission-based company while traveling, mastering the art of finding WiFi in the most unexpected places. This lifestyle taught me how to seamlessly blend work and adventure, making the world my office.
